“Runway District” focuses on three key styles originating from and popularized by Japanese youth in Harajuku. Harajuku is a fashion centered district within Tokyo where young people can gather with similar styles and interests and also shop. Many of these styles are unique and unlike any outfits seen in other places, I therefore created layouts and spreads which were all very varied and playful. I have also created a cyber inspired futuristic style throughout the publication to match the futuristic appeal and technology of Japan.
